Glen Spivey, MAI has been actively involved in commercial real estate since graduating from Florida Southern College in 1988.  In 1992, he became a Licensed Real Estate Broker and a State Certified General Appraiser in the state of Florida.  In 1994, he received the "MAI" designation from the Appraisal Institute.  Currently, Glen is the President and owner of The Spivey Group, Inc., a full service real estate appraisal and brokerage company located in Central Florida and Palm Beach County.  The Spivey Group has five commercial appraisers in the litigation department and a residential appraisal department in the Orlando office. 

Glen has qualified as an expert in the following Florida Circuit Courts:  Orange County, Seminole County, Hillsborough County, Polk County, Marion County, Pasco County, Lee County, Palm Beach County, Indian River County, Madison County, Manatee County, Nassau County, Osceola County, St. Lucie County, Sumter County, Seminole County, Alachua County, DeSoto County, Lake County and Pinellas County.

Mr. Spivey has also been actively developing and managing commercial real estate since 2001 and has purchased or developed fourteen residential and eleven commercial investment properties. Three of the eleven commercial properties were land purchases that were developed as multi tenant strip centers by Mr. Spivey. His involvement included the selection and oversight of design and construction, leasing to retail tenants and management.
